Bryan played by Liam Neeson is a former government spy, when his daughter Kim played by Maggie Grace goes to Paris with a friend he has reason to worry. Kim calls her father while she is speaking to him, she sees several men enter the flat and kidnap her friend. Horrified she tells her father whats just happened, he tells her to hide under the bed knowing that she will be taken as well. Bryan arrives in Paris to look for his daughter, there he´s told he has ninety six hrs before she´s gone forever into the sex trade. once there he stops at nothing to get her back, that includes taking no prisoners.

Punisher 2 War Zone is the sequel to the 2004 film Punisher starring Thomas Jane. In the new film the title role is played by British actor Ray Stevenson after Thomas Jane turned it down. The villain in Punisher 2 War Zone is played by Dominic West whose character name is Jigsaw. This time the film is set in New York where Jigsaw is a psychotic hit man for the mafia, has his own plans to run things his way.  A new character is introduced in the film by the name of Microchip, the Punishers right hand man who designs his weapons for him. With the FBI hot on the Punishers tail aka Nick Castle, he must eliminate Jigsaw and his men before more of his evil deeds go unpunished.
