The year is 1941 thousands of Jews are being massacred by the Nazi´s, after escaping certain death three brothers Tuvia played by Daniel Craig, Asael played by Jamie Bell and Zus played by Liev Shreiber join the Russian resistance, there they fight a desperate battle against the Nazi´s. A way to avenge the deaths of family and friends, as the word begins to spread of their daring, soon men and women of all ages are willing to join them and risk everything for a chance of freedom.
