G-Force is a 2009 action comedy film produced by Jerry Bruckheimer the film revolves around a special FBI organization of trained secret agent animals.  The team of secret agents are equipped with the latest high tech spy equipment including an advanced earpiece that allows the mammalian members to talk to humans.  In addition to a team of cockroaches the team consists of guinea pigs Darwin (Sam Rockwell) team leader, Juarez (Penelope Cruz) martial arts, Blaster (Tracy Morgan) weapons and transportation, mole Speckles (Nicolas Cage) cyber intelligence and fly Mooch (Edwin Louis) reconnaissance.  In an aim to impress his superiors Ben (Zach Galifianakis) the unit’s leader orders an unauthorized infiltration of the residence of home electronics and appliances magnate Leonard Saber (Bill Nighy) who has been under FBI investigation for years.  The team retrieves considerable sensitive information about a sinister scheme that is set to occur in 29 hours, but when Ben’s superiors learn of Ben’s unauthorized mission and the fact that the downloaded intelligence appears to be useless information the unit is shut down the equipment seized and the animals to be used as experimental subjects to be killed as security risks.   With the help of their human compatriots, Darwin, Juarez, Blaster, Mooch and Speckles escape with hopes of stopping Saber’s scheme but find themselves in a pet carrying case bound for a pet shop.  Now trapped in the pet store and on display,  G Force meets Hurley (Jon Favreau) a gluttonous guinea pig and Bucky (Steve Buscemi) an irascible hamster and three sycophantic mice.   The team manages to escape the pet store and return to Ben who provides them team with the means to infiltrate the Saber residence and plant a virus in the computer mainframe.  FBI agents ordered to capture the animals arrive, forcing the team to elude them with an extended pursuit thanks to a high speed vehicle especially designed for them.   G Force infiltrates Saber’s mainframe the resulting battle separates the group leaving only Darwin to take the mainframe down at the same time  Leonard Saber is shocked to discover that his appliances have become killing machines.   Darwin reaches the mainframe only to find out that Speckles whose home and family had been destroyed by humans is the mastermind of the plan, whoes masterstroke is to cause a massive planet wide bombardment of space junk pulled from orbit to make the planet surface uninhabitable.   Darwin manages to persuade Speckles that his new family is with the rest of the team and Ben  who had taken them all in.    Speckles consents and tries to shut it down but realizes that it has gone too far, Darwin uses the computer virus on his PDA to take it down.  At the end of the film the G Force team are personally commended by the FBI Director who also them appoints them special agents of the FBI and Furthermore reinstates G Force as a unit of the Bureau and expanded with Hurley, Bucky and the mice inducted as new recruits.  Meanwhile Saber makes the largest product recall in history and Speckles is given the punitive duty of personally removing the malicious chips from all Saber products, which number in the tens of thousands.

Bill Nighy

Bill Nighy is a British actor his films include Agony (1981), Eye of the Needle (1981), Curse of the Pink Panther (1983), The Phantom of the Opera The Motion Picture (1989), Being Human (1993), Still Crazy (1998), Guest House Paradiso (1999), Longitude (2000), Lucky Break (2001), Love Actually (2003), Underworld (2003), Shaun of the Dead (2004), The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (2005), Underworld Evolution (2006), Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man’s Chest (2006), Stormbreaker (2006), Hot Fuzz (2007), Pirates of the Caribbean At World’s End (2007), Valkyrie (2008) and Underworld Rise of the Lycans (2009).   Bill Nighy has lent his voice to animated films such as Flushed Away and The Magic Roundabout.

Will Arnett

Will Arnett is a Canadian actor known for his role as George Oscar G.O.B Bluth II on the FOX comedy Arrested Development.  His films include Close Up (1996), The Broken Giant (1998), Southie (1999), The Waiting Game (1999), The Acting Class (2000), Monster in Law (2005), RV (2006) and The Comebacks (2007).   He has appeared in TV series such as Sex and the City, Third Watch, The Sopranos, Law & Order Special Victims Unit, Will & Grace, King of the Hill and 30 Rock.   Arnett has also lent his voice to a number of animated films that include ice Age 2 The Meltdown, Ratatouille, Horton Hears a Who! and Monsters vs Aliens.

Gabriel Casseus
