Fringe is an American science fiction television series co created by J J Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.  The series follows FBI special agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv),  mad scientist Walter Bishop (John Noble) and his son Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) as they investigate aspects of fringe science.  All over the world a series of apparent experiments are occurring for reasons unknown, Olivia, Peter, and Walter are in charge of investigating these strange events to determine their source.  In all the cases investigated by the Fringe team Massive Dynamic  a leading global technology company has been connected to the pattern that holds the patents for a number of new and important technologies.   Their enemy is ZFT  a bio terrorist organization which is orchestrating all of the strange occurrences in order to prepare for a destructive technological singularity.  Connecting both sides together is a drug called Cortexiphan which was developed by Walter and his partner William Bell (Leonard Nimoy) now chairman of Massive Dynamic.   As children Olivia and a number of others were treated with this drug not knowing why she investigates the series ends with Olivia meeting William Bell in a parallel universe where among other differences the World Trade Center was not destroyed by the September 11 attacks,  Season 2 of Fringe is currently in production.

Anna Torv as Olivia Dunham

Anna Torv is an Australian actress she has made only a few films most of her work has been in TV series. The films she has starred in are Traveling Light (2003), The Book of Revelation (2006) and Frankenstein (2007).  She has appeared in TV series such as White Collar Blue, Young Lions, McLeod’s Daughters, The Secret Life of Us and Mistresses.  In 2007 she lent her voice to the video game Heavenly Sword.

Joshua Jackson as Peter Bishop

John Noble as Dr. Walter Bishop

John Noble is an Australian film and television actor his films include The Dreaming (1988), A Sting in the Tale (1989), Call Me Mr Brown (1990), The Nostradamus Kid (1993), Airtight (1999), Virtual Nightmare (2000), Superfire (2002), The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers (2002), The Lord of the Rings The Return of the King (2003), Fracture (2004) and Running Scared (2006).   He has appeared in TV series such as Agatha Christie Poirot, Police Rescue, Time Trax, The Bill, Stargate SG 1, Home and Away, 24, The Unit and Fringe.

Lance Reddick as Phillip Broyles

Lance Reddick is an American actor his films include What the Deaf Man Heard (1997), The Siege (1998), The Fixer (1998), Great Expectations (1998), I Dreamed of Africa (2000), Don’t Say a Word (2001), Brother To Brother (2004), Dirty Work (2006) and Tennessee (2008).    He has appeared in TV series such as The West Wing, Law & Order Special Victims Unit, Oz, Law & Order, CSI Miami, Lost and Fringe.

Jasika Nicole as Astrid Farnsworth

Jasika Nicole is an American actress her films include Take the Lead (2006), The Mastersons of Manhattan (2007) and She’s Out of My League (2010).   She has appeared in TV series such as Law & Order Criminal Intent, The Return of Jezebel James and Fringe.

Kirk Acevedo as Charlie Francis
